| I worked like 55 or some crazy number of hours this week which is good for funding my many planned trips but hard on my body and brain. Just to give you a taste of how my week was, this was a phone call on Friday... Something to remember-I work at JoAnn Fabrics. It's a chain fabric store. Hancock Fabrics is our arch rival. It's like we're Burger King and they're McDonalds. We aren't friends.
Me: Thank you for calling JoAnn Fabrics, this is Rin. How may I help you?
Caller: Is this JoAnn Hancock Fabric Shop?
Me: No, ma'am. This is JoAnn Fabrics. Hancock's is another store.
Caller: Well, I want the store by Fox's Market.
Me: That's Hancock's. We're the one by Karns.
Caller: No, I'm calling for JoAnn's.
Me: This is JoAnn's. The one on Route 22 by Karn's.
Caller: Aren't you the same store?
Me: No, ma'am. Hancock's is our competitor.
Caller: I want the store by Karn's.
Me: Ma'am, this IS the store by Karn's. It's JoAnn Fabrics on Route 22.
Caller: This isn't the one on Union Deposit Road by Fox's? What the f*ck?
Me: (getting a little perturbed and trying not to laugh because the customer waiting to talk to me is absolutely cracking up just by hearing my end of the convo.) No ma'am. We are on Rt 22. Hancock's is on Union Deposit.
Caller: Well, just connect me to them then. You're the same store right?
Me: (losing my mind) No, ma'am. I don't have their number and I can't connect you to them. I'm sorry. I know they're in the phone book.
Caller: Can you look them up for me? My phone book is in the kitchen and I don't feel like getting it.
Me: Ma'am, I'm sorry I have other customers waiting for me. I need to hang up now.
Caller: Well, what the hell kind of help are you? I....

Yes, it's nice to have two days straight off work to unwind. let me tell you!
On happier notes, I went to Christ Community on Saturday night and Life Center this morning and just had a blast. Met a cool new dude on Sat and he introduced me to two cool new chicks and we're all going to go Friday night and meet a ton of cool new people on Friday night at this young adults thing at Life Center called Shift.
Pastor Dave and Pastor Stock (CCC and LC pastors) both preach eerily similar messages. It was very interesting. I think God's trying to tell me something.
